So here is the final layout of my book depicted the Fall of Franz Reichelt in 1912. its been sent to the printers and when all attached together and pulled out will measure exactly 2 meters long.

Finally brought some colour back into my life with the decision to illustrate scenes from Hans Christian Andersen’s Fairy tales. This one is for ‘The Nightingale. Most of the patterns seen in the foliage and the water are based on Chinese designs.

Drawing for my book project showing the Fall of ‘Franz Reichelt’ an Austrian tailor who tried to fly from the Eiffel Tower in February 1912. This is perhaps the final picture and shows the fact that he didn’t fly after all. All the pictures except this one will have references to flight in the form of birds, hot air balloons, planes etc. (based on a photograph from the day)
